I appreciate this video you put together, however; the sales in this video is lackluster. Potential customers don’t know what they want so you have to paint a picture in their minds and you’re the expert so you should have ideas and help create the vision together. Maybe I just know my style vs what this is and it makes sense why I close 80%+ consistently… And I only say that to potentially help you become better.. because the approach could use some work and inspiring people then creating that vision in real life is a great feeling 🤙

this is a nice product and the design with the antenna is genius for better wifi connectivity. For a single gang outdoor receptacle with an in use cover, it will not fit inside with the antenna. So, the best application is likely to plug this into the inside of the transformer and punch out the photocell knockout for the antenna there. The brilliance app is a little clunky though. I did not find it intuitive or user friendly

I want to add this to my Unique 300sssl -- led transformer - will in work with a photo cell as well or does it have to one or the other ?? I have it pluged into the timer spot and it doesnt work.

you get bleed off for led lights ... the switch needs 5v to stay connected to the internet. Will not work on led christmas lights

I have a strange problem. I have about 10 pathway lights and 10 accent lights, split roughly evenly between the front and back yard. Since the Portfolio 300W transformer is in the backyard, I used the 12V output for the backyard and the higher voltage (14V, I believe) for the front yard and everything was working fine for many years. Little by little, the lights started going out. Finally, this weekend I decided to start replacing them. I bought one Pathway Light and put it in as a replacement for one of the non-functioning units in the front yard, and it would not light up. So, now I went into troubleshooting mode. First thing to point out is that, at this time, only two lights were working - both of them part of the backyard circuit. When I measured the voltage on the transformer, I got some surprising results. It measured less than 1V on both the low voltage (12) and high voltage (14) terminals. That certainly explains why the front yard would not work. The voltage drop is greater than 1V, no the front lights were getting essentially 0V. I guess that the two rear yard light that work were just operating outside of their guaranteed operating range, and that I was just lucky that they could turn on with less than 1V. I took the transformer out, brought it inside, and measured the no-load voltage. It remained less than 1 volt. So, at ths point, I concluded the problem is the transformer. I bought the replacement, a 200W Hampton Bay. I went with 200W instead of 300W because all I really need is about 100W. The 300W original purchase was made because I had plans to add more lights in the future, but that never materialized and certainly not going to happen now. I took the Hampton Bay transformer out of the box, turned it on, and to my surprise, it also measured a no-load voltage of less than 1V ! I hooked it up to the landscape lights anyway, and they did not come on as I expected since the voltage is so low. Is it possible that I had a bad transformer to begin with and the replacement (i.e. the Hampton Bay) is non-functioning out of the box? Seems unlikely, but I have no other explanation. I even questioned my voltmeter, but verified that it is operating properly by measuring the 12V battery in my car. Any suggestions?

I have a Lutron RA2 system installed in my home in Brooklyn. What a nightmare. I have wasted so much time with this system, and it is still not working properly. I don't know why you'd want to get this system in the age of Alexa and Google home. I've spent a ton of money $3,000 to $4,000 to get people here to set up it right (builder had installed it) and it's still not working (that is NOT the cost of the system, that is JUST THE COST to fix it). Insane really. My belief is this company may have made sense a decade ago but now is a nightmare. Their supply chain to reps is not oriented or incentivized to solve problems. I feel a need to warn others.
